Spirit Stations: Entertain participants with encouragement and inspiration. Located at every mile, spirit stations can be cheering groups, bands of all kinds, disc jockeys, sports teams, and mascots - any individual or organization to generate noise and enthusiasm.
Neighborhood: If your neighborhood is along the marathon course, camp out in your yard to offer support. Invite your friends and family over to make a party out of it!
Course Monitors: Act as an observer througout the course to ensure that participants do not stray from the course. Also act as traffic control on the smaller streets to ensure that automobile traffic does not interfere. Local police will control traffic at the larger intersections.
